## Route directions

**Who it’s for: Expert.** Fit riders with reliable handling on long, rough mountain tracks.

This gives you the Vodolaza finish with a longer approach through the hamlets and forest. Staying lower than the Semkovo circuit can make it a useful option earlier or later in the season, provided snow has cleared.

**Ride:** take the **Treshtenik road**, then turn left towards **Manovi Kolibi at 11.5 km**. Keep with the main road right at **12.3 km**, near the last fountain. Climb towards **Toritsa**, turn left around **17.2 km** and left again near **21.4 km**. Enter **Vodolaza left at 23.6 km**, cross the road at **24.6 km** and approach the railway around **25.5 km**. Use the designated crossing for the return to the market.

Refill at Manovi Kolibi and carry food for half a day. Dry roads can be dusty and eroded; the technical finish asks for concentration after the climbing. Choose parking away from the market on Saturdays.
