## Forest, water and a little curiosity

You don't need a summit to give a day a purpose. Take binoculars into the forest, watch the light move across the meadows or follow an eco-trail slowly enough to notice its old trees, peatland and glacial scenery. A nature guide can make a short walk absorbing; so can leaving the distance target at home.

Back at Coliving, shared meals, yoga, dance, games and films offer company without a journey downhill. Look in on the library, find out about minigolf or skateboarding, or suggest an activity yourself. The resident programme changes with the people staying.

## Running and winter wandering

Learn a short running route in daylight before adding distance. The hut approach is a useful first reference. Higher lake paths call for the same weather judgement and navigation whether you walk or run; keep them for a day with plenty of time.

In winter, a snowy forest walk, a guided snowshoe outing or a camera and an hour of good light can be enough. Stay off active pistes on foot. For anything beyond the resort, ask a mountain guide or instructor for a route suited to the day's snow.

## Rila Swing, jeep trips and group games

**Rila Swing**, at **Rila Fun Park**, adds a large swing to the forest coaster outing. The park is roughly **30 minutes by car from Coliving**, in the Dedovo area above Belitsa. **[+359 878 901 365](tel:+359878901365); [planinskipark@abv.bg](mailto:planinskipark@abv.bg).** Call for the day's attractions, tickets and rider restrictions; afternoons are easier to organise if you settle the return lift uphill at the same time.

For a group, **off-road jeep trips** explore the Belitsa–Semkovo area, including panoramic places, waterfalls and the bear-park surroundings. The UAZ vehicle takes roughly **six or seven people**, with pickup by arrangement. The same operator runs **Paintball Arena Fun Point**, about **30 minutes by car from Coliving**, and can arrange mobile paintball. **Jeep and paintball bookings: [+359 876 170 549](tel:+359876170549).** Agree the route or game, passenger numbers, equipment, total price and return. **Arrange the meeting point by phone.** The jeep operator is also known as **Разходка с джип в Рила**; the paintball contact names are **PaintballArenaFunPoint** and **paintball\_arena\_fun\_point**.

Ask locally about **ATV outings at Rila Fun Park**, **Warzone Airsoft Adventure Park near Belitsa**, and **winter snowmobile rides**. These need an operator and an agreed outing before you set aside the day; snowmobiles also need suitable snow and a permitted route. The Fun Park number above is the starting point for its ATV activities, while Coliving or Belitsa's tourist office can help arrange the others.
